Ezee Meals
Nutrious,
pre-packaged meals are available from the Community Centre.
Ezee
Meals are a service organised as a partnership between St Anne @ Ward (the
Anglican Parish of Northland-Wilton) and the Northland Memorial Community
Centre. They are pre-packaged
meals produced by Mission Foods Ltd (part of the Wellington City Mission)
– all ready just to pop into the microwave or the oven. The aim is to provide a tasty and
nutritious meal for those who may have difficulty preparing their own meals or
shopping for the ingredients. Ezee
Meals are great for the elderly, or those convalescing after an illness –
or even as a stand-by to have in the freezer, a convenient option for students
and other busy people.
Meals
can be ordered over the phone, and they will be delivered on Thursday mornings
by the team of volunteers.
Different
types of meals are available, including roast dinners, smaller meals, snack
sizes, and desserts. There are
even some diabetic options.
Ezee
meals are easy to heat and reasonably priced
Anyone
wanting to order Ezee Meals – either as a regular thing, or just to try
them – can ring the Community Centre. And if you know someone who might benefit from this service,
why not suggest it to them?
